What do I need to rent a car?
You need to be 18 or older with a valid driver's license. There's no credit check. You'll also need insurance: bring your existing policy, or we can get you a quick quote for the length of your rental.
Is there a security deposit?
With a refundable deposit, Economy is $50/day or $300/week ($250 deposit) and Luxury is $125/day or $700/week ($500 deposit). Prefer no deposit? Economy is $70/day or $420/week, and Luxury is $150/day or $850/week.
Are there any other fees?
Only Florida's required $2/day rental surcharge and 7% sales tax on the rental rate. You see the full itemized total before you pay, with no surprise charges at pickup.
Is there a minimum rental length?
Most rentals have a 3-day minimum. Approved gig drivers can rent Economy cars by the day with no minimum.
Can I use the car for food delivery or other gig work?
Yes. Our cars are a great fit for food and grocery delivery like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub and Instacart. Reserve as a gig driver and text proof of your active gig account (like a screenshot) to (941) 281-4805 before your rental start date. Your insurance needs to cover the type of gig work you do.
Can I extend my rental?
Anytime, with no extra fees. Use Continue Rental above, or call or text us.
Where do I pick up and drop off the car?
Near SRQ Airport, in Downtown Sarasota (1226 Central Ave), or wherever fits your schedule. Pickup and drop-off are contactless and available 24/7, so there's no counter and no waiting around for business hours.
Do you charge extra for drivers under 25?
Never. We rent to anyone 18 and older with no young-driver fees.
